What can it do?

Players can choose to launch their own asteroids and choose their type, size, speed, and angle. These factors can greatly change the impact it creates on the area you choose to hit. Once you’ve launched your asteroid, you can get a breakdown of its effects, including the size of the crater, the potential damage brought by its fireball, the shock wave, wind speed, and the magnitude of a possible earthquake.

In order to give you a more accurate idea of what could possibly happen in the event of an asteroid crash similar to the one you’re simulating, you can view detailed information such as the number of people that could be affected, as well as which areas are more likely to experience more damage. It also allows you to simulate as many crashes as you’d like.

Something to note, though, is that you cannot search for specific locations on the map. You’ll need to manually navigate the app and look for the area you want to assign as the impact area on your own. However, the map does provide detailed visuals, especially when zooming in closer, so you can get a better look at the surrounding areas.
